Facilities and things to do at the Quinta

For those who prefer to do a bit more than just sunbathe on their holiday or for those visiting outside of the summer season there is a wealth of facilities both on and off The Quinta to keep the whole family occupied.

Pools - The facilities on The Quinta include two superb swimming pools (click on the picture below to learn more about the pools) and beside the lower pool there is a pool bar which as well as being open for snacks and drinks during the summer, also hosts the Saturday Night Barbeque - always a popular event and an ideal opportunity to meet other holidaymakers.

Tennis - The Quinta possesses a pristine all-weather tennis court exclusively for the use of guests for a modest charge. Racquets and balls can be hired but you must bring your own tennis shoes!

Play-park - Adjacent to the bottom pool there is a lovely, safe, play area for toddlers. It is fenced and has a secure gate as well as a shady seating area for tired parents.

Crazy Golf/Petanque/Table Tennis - Plenty of fun for young and old alike, all situated near the lower pool with equipment available free at the pool bar.

Maid service - 6 days per week in the high season and 3 days per week in the low season

Horse riding - please enquire on booking if you are interested in horse riding so we can check on their availability. The rides can take you across country or down to the beach.

Restaurants - As well as the many superb places to eat that can be found in the surrounding villages and towns, the Quinta benefits from having it's own excellent restaurant and bar on the premises. (click on the picture below to learn more about the bar and restaurant).

There is no shortage of excellent bars and restaurants within easy driving distance of the Quinta. Guia, Porches, Gale, Armacao de Pera and of course Albufeira all boast places to eat to suit every taste and every pocket. 

Days out - Just outside Guia, the excellent "Zoomarine" complex offers shows featuring dolphins, sea lions, seals and parrots as well as a huge swimming pool and numerous places to eat and drink. There are also two water parks: 'The Big One" and "The Black Hole" just a short drive from the Quinta.
